TECHNOLOGY FORESIGHT FOR STRATEGIC DECISIONS: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract

To prepare for the future of uncertain times, businesses, organizations, and policymakers look for real solutions to deal with real problems. With its established tools, techniques, and methodologies, foresight offers a required forum for comprehensive thinking about the future. The study provides the current state of literature listed with scopus indexed journals. Foresight has remained a hot topic of research and linked to various other themes. However, we limit our research question to the link between foresight and technology strategy. Our findings offer many research directions, including multidisciplinary research on the topic and their possible avenues. Our methodology can be easily validated and repeated, if required, for any similar topic of interest. Hence, it would serve to larger interest of readers. Copyright © 2021 by naudé scribante.
