| Abstract: | Low density parity check (LDPC) codes are a class of very powerful error correcting codes. While LDPC codes already have a rich theory, issues specific to implementation are an active area of research. In this paper we look at the issue of designing LDPC codes for multi File-channel communication scenarios. We have proposed a new description of LDPC codes that utilizes the a priori information about noise behavior in such scenarios for performance analysis of LDPC codes. We show that this new description has a better predictive ability than the conventional description. |
