| Abstract: | Benzocrown ether compounds containing a sulfone moiety have been prepared using Rongalite. The resulting sulfones were employed as diene equivalents (o-quinodimethane) for the synthesis of various annulated benzocrown ethers using the Diels-Alder strategy. |
