| Abstract: | Advantages of the Fourier grid Hamiltonian method and the Floquet theory have been combined to fabricate a Fourier grid Floquet (FGF) propagator for economical treatment of long time photodynamics in the presence of intense laser fields. Initial applications to photodissociation of LiH and multiphoton dynamics of H-2(+) show that considerable computational economy is obtained with the use of the FGF propagator. A scheme for further economy through the use of a reduced FGF propagator is discussed and applied to multiphoton dissociation of H-2(+). |
