|Abstract:||CoAPO and CoSAPO with -34 and -44 framework structures have been synthesized. The presence of cobalt in the framework has been established by a number of experimental techniques. Distribution of cobalt in the crystal was heterogeneous for the CoAPSOs. Using electron microprobe analysis, it was observed that cobalt is homogeneously distributed in the CoAPOs while in the CoSAPOs it has higher concentration near the center of the crystal that progressively decreases toward the edges.|
