Abstract: The new clusters CrFe2(CO)(10)E(4) (E = S, 1; E = Se, 2) have been isolated from the room temperature reactions of Fe-2(CO)(6)(mu-E(2)) and Cr(CO)(5)(THF), and the structure of CrFe2(CO)(10)Se-4 has been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods.
