|Abstract: ||In the structure of the title compound, C(17)H(17)BrN(2)O, the central phenyl and imidazol-2-one rings are coplanar (dihedral angle between planes of 0.73 (11)degrees). The angles subtended by the substituents on the N atoms of the imidazol-2-one ring range from 109.71 (14)degrees to 128.53 (15) due to steric hindrance of these substituents with the phenyl H atoms. The carbonyl O and Br both make two weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot Br interactions with two adjacent molecules, thus forming an three-dimensional array.|
