Abstract: In this paper, the Kalman-Yakubovich lemma is formulated and proved in the behavioural theoretic setting. The behavioural framework is used to generalize the lemma, for behaviours with two manifest variables, with respect to supply rates that are quadratic differential forms (QDFs).
