Abstract: Various non-natural C-3- and C-4-symmetric alpha-amino acid derivatives have been synthesized via Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction between aromatic iodides or bromide and a suitably protected DL-4-boronophenylalanine derivative.
