Abstract: The title compound was synthesized by the reaction of N,N′-dimethyl-N,N′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylenediamine with phosphoryl azide and characterized by mass spectrometry, microanalysis, and 31P and 1H NMR spectroscopy and the structure was confirmed by single crystal X-ray studies.
