| Abstract: | A magnet is observed to levitate with lateral stability over a YBa2Cu3O7-delta (1-2-3) superconductor (SC) at 77K. Here, we report the results of levitation experiments using 1-2-3 SC discs. A hysteresis curve of levitation force with levitation distance is obtained that reveals SC character of the material. |
