Abstract: A cooperative algorithm based on interference temperature model is proposed for computation of available channels by mesh nodes in a cognitive mesh network. Interference temperature model is used to model occupancy and availability of a channel. Link and end-to-end routing metrics are proposed to select appropriate channels from the computed set of available channels.
